Service Providers

Cloudflare

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, security and network services. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request details and security logs to deliver and protect the website.

Ahrefs Web Analytics

Ahrefs Web Analytics provides aggregate usage statistics. According to Ahrefs, its Web Analytics product does not use cookies or persistent identifiers by default and does not store raw IP addresses. It processes information such as page URLs, referrers, browser information and approximate location to produce aggregated reports.

Google AdSense

Google AdSense may display advertising on eligible content pages. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalize ads where permitted.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies based on a visitor’s previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.

For more information, read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Privacy Choices

For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising consent is handled through Google’s certified Consent Management Platform when the AdSense European regulations message is active. The message allows eligible visitors to consent, decline or manage advertising purposes and vendors.

Use Privacy and cookie settings in the website footer to review or change a previous choice. If the Google consent interface is not available, the button returns to this policy.

Browser settings can also block or remove cookies. Blocking advertising storage may result in non-personalized or limited ads.

Why Information Is Processed

Information is processed to:

  • Deliver, secure and maintain the website
  • Diagnose errors and protect against abuse
  • Understand aggregate traffic and improve useful content
  • Display and measure advertising where permitted
  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations

Where applicable, processing relies on legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, consent for non-essential advertising storage and personalization, or compliance with legal obligations.

Data Sharing and Retention

Each provider applies its own retention practices. Media Cheat Sheet retains information it controls only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose.

Service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, those transfers are subject to safeguards provided by the relevant service provider and applicable law.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
